Who is Bray Wyatt?
Bray Wyatt, also known as Windham Lawrence Rotunda, comes from a family of wrestlers, including his father Mike Rotunda, his grandfather Blackjack Mulligan, and uncles Barry and Kendall Windham. His younger brother, Bo Dallas (Taylor Rotunda), is also a wrestler.
Before becoming Bray Wyatt, he briefly wrestled as Husky Harris on the WWE main roster in 2010-2011 as part of The Nexus. Later, he returned to WWE’s developmental division as Bray Wyatt, leading The Wyatt Family. Bray won several championships, including WWE and Universal titles, and had tag team success using the Freebird Rule.
After a break from August 2018 to April 2019, Bray returned with a new persona, featuring multiple personalities. He left WWE in July 2021 but made a surprise appearance in October 2022, introducing a character claiming to be him in “real life” with a mix of past personas.
Unfortunately, Bray’s second wrestling stint was cut short. After a break due to COVID-19 in February 2023, he unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack in August 2023. His final televised match occurred at the 2023 Royal Rumble.
