Can Yall Tell Yall Apart?: Fans Playfully Tease Tasha Smith After Mistaking Her for Her

Actress Tasha Smith has been in the entertainment industry for over two decades, but fans still can’t seem to tell her apart from her identical twin sister Sidra Smith. The ongoing confusion continues now that someone has shared a gorgeous vintage video of Jada Pinkett Smith and Sidra Smith on Twitter. The user, however, captioned the post “Dawg look at Jada & Tasha Smith in 96.” The post quickly made its way around the internet gaining over 169,000 likes and 33,000 retweets.

The “Why Did I Get Married” star caught wind of the post and shared the clip, quoting “This is my Twin @sidrasmith y’all still can’t tell us apart.”  Fans were both shocked and in disbelief over the revelation. 

One Twitter user responded to the tweet, writing, “She can get into YOUR Iphone with HER FACE, how WE suppose to tell you two apart.” While another user replied, “You sure that’s not you? How can you tell?”

A third user commented, “Can yall tell yall apart??” They added, “It took me a min to sort this out and im still not sure,” and attached a photo of the two sisters posing together. 

Another user jokingly wrote, “This is Jackee Harry and Kim Whitley all over again but this time ya real twins” and attached a video of Jaden Smith asking, “What is going on here.” Harry and Whitley had long been mistaken for each other as people thought they shared similar facial features. 

Fans have also compared Smith to Detroit rapper Kash Doll. In 2018, someone on Twitter wrote, “Tasha Smith Gave birth to Kash Doll.” The ladies addressed the topic in a cute video and finally put the debate to rest.

Smith made her acting debut in 1994 in the comedy film “Twin Sitters,” and from 1996 to 1997, she starred in the NBC comedy series “Boston Common.” Throughout the 2000s, the 49 year old guest starred in classic shows, including “The Parkers,” “Nip/Tuck,” and “Girlfriends.” Meanwhile, her sister is a producer whose credits include “A Luv Story” and “Free Angela and All Political Prisoners.”
