Actor Tyrese Gibson and daughter Shayla hosted a screening of ANNIE for friends and family on October 25, 2014 in Woodland Hills, California. Among those in attendance were actor/comedian Chris Spencer and his family.
Annie, which comes out in theatres on December 19th, stars Quvenzhané Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild) as Annie, a young, happy foster kid who is left by her parents as a baby with the promise that they’d be back for her someday. In the meantime, Annie is lives a hard knock life with her mean foster mom Miss Hannigan (Cameron Diaz) until she meets New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks (Jamie Foxx).
Chris and his wife Vanessa Spencer are parents to son Christopher and daughter Isabella.
