The Durango Police Department decided to use a “Family Feud” parody to help capture offenders.

Cindi Taylor, the officer who created “Fugitive Feud”, mentions how getting the community involved is essential to catching criminals. She also tells the Durango Herald, the game is a creative take on the wanted posters released weekly by the Durango Police Department.

The community plays “Fugitive Feud” which catalogs the primary suspects and identifies their information. The game is in the identical format of “Family Feud”.

Citizens took to Facebook to voice their approval:

Michelle Lucchi wrote, “Lol. This is awesome! I love it!”

Frank Miller put, “Eyes and Ears open. … Love the approach with the Feud. Cool.”

Julie Moylan Lopez wrote,”That is awesome!!”

The police department captioned the video as “The Durango Police Department presents Fugitive Feud…some of Durango’s most wanted fugitives this week. If you are featured in this video, please turn yourself in.”

The officers will continue with monthly episodes of “Fugitive Feud”.
