Columbus Short is regrouping and refocusing after losing big in court. The actor was recently ordered to pay his estranged wife, Tanee Short, a whopping $17,000 per month in spousal support, and over $4,000 per month in child support for their daughter, Ayala.

TMZ reports,

“Columbus Short is learning a lot about the legal system these days … today’s lesson — you don’t show up in family court and your wife will take you to the cleaners.

The former “Scandal” star was just ordered to fork over a whopping $17,005 a month in spousal support to estranged wife Tanee Short. And if that’s not enough, he also has to pay $4,542 a month in child support.

But wait … there’s more. Columbus got tagged for $25,000 to cover Tanee’s legal bills.”

Columbus and Tanee wed in 2005. Mrs. Short filed for divorce in September 2013, but has yet to receive a response from Mr. Short concerning her petition for marriage dissolution. Columbus Short also has a son from his marriage to ex-wife Brandi.
