Nicole Murphy turned 50-years-old this weekend and she celebrated in style. However, she wasn’t alone as rapper Drake joined her for the festivities. The two posed side-by-side for the Gram, leading fans to wonder if they’re more than just friends.
“Thank you @champagnepapi & @virginiablackwhiskey for celebrating my 50th Birthday with me,” she wrote in a Saturday, Jan. 6 shout out to the Canadian MC and his whiskey company that was part of the event.

Murphy and Drake, who was previously linked to actress Bria Vinaite, have collaborated before. She appeared in a TV ad for Virginia Black where it seemed like she was eyeing Drake but instead went for his dad.
It seems like Drake may be the one to get his shot in real life, however. As for who isn’t getting the chance to engage with Murphy? The reportedly engaged to be married, Shannon Sharpe. The host of FS1’s “Undisputed” grabbed social media attention last year when he apparently lusted after — or befriended — the star. He later jokingly threatened to pop Drake and his dad for making moves on Murphy in the whiskey ad.
