Garcelle Beauvais is telling parents that they are #doinggood. The celebrity mom recently partnered with Minute Maid to bring tidings of joy to parents who are working to create a better future for their kids.
“Being a single mom of two boys, it’s exhausting,” Garcelle says in the commercial. “You always have self-doubt when you’re a parent because you want to get it right but you’re never going to be perfect. So there are times where I go to bed and I think, ‘Oh I did a pretty good job today.’ And then there are times I go to bed and I am like crying on my pillow.”
Beauvais further explains, “We tend to judge each other, especially moms. I feel like sometimes you’re judged for not being at school all of the time because you’re working. I think we should rally [around one another].”
The star mom’s kids, Jaid and Jax, are certainly rallying around their mom. The twins make their mom a gratitude dinner that has all of the makings of breakfast on camera in addition to writing letters that Garcelle reads aloud.
“As a mom, anytime your kids can give you sort of a ‘thumbs up,’ either by a kiss or writing you a letter, that’s everything,” Beauvais says. Check out the video below!
