The University Of Cape Coast (UCC), has set up an online system for teaching and learning due to the closure of educational institutions necessitated by the covid-19 pandemic. Management of the University Of Cape Coast (UCC), in a stakeholder meeting with the Students’ Representative Councils of the University Of Cape Coast (UCC) campuses, addressed concerns of the students regarding the implementation of the e-learning system.
According to an internal memorandum dated April 21, 2020, the online system, with its mobile app has been made known to the university community for easy accessibility. The student body has been urged to try as much as possible to cooperate with these extraordinary interventions as no student would be disadvantaged by the e-learning initiative. The University’s Management has also completed negotiations with MTN Ghana and Vodafone Ghana to zero-rate UCC e-learning platform, hence, students may henceforth use these telecommunication networks to access the online teaching and learning.
