Jurnee Smollett and Josiah Bell are training their son, Hunter Bell, in the ways of musicianship. The couple recently shared pictures and video footage of their little one learning the essentials of good tunes.
One video post on Instagram was of Josiah making beats with fellow celebrity friends while holding his son. The celebrity father was completely involved in his craft. Hunter, on the other hand, seemed more in tune with the camera’s lens. “That circus life,” wrote Jurnee Bell. “Shepherding em young,” Josiah commented on a separate post in which Hunter wore headphones while hanging out with dad in the studio.

Hunter will definitely have a balance of artistry and charity in his life. It was just a few days ago that Jurnee took her son along as she showed support for local businesses at the Give Back Garden Party hosted by Ashlee Margolis in Beverly Hills.
“I believe in responsible consumerism,” Jurnee shared after last Wednesday’s event. “We vote with our dollar,” she added. “Had so much fun yesterday at the Give Back Garden Party celebrating companies on a mission to donate their proceeds to charity,” the star mom concluded. Jurnee took several pictures with party guests but, of course, her son stole the show with his cuteness.
Hunter Bell is Jurnee Smollett and Josiah Bell’s only child. The little one celebrates his first birthday in November.
