Bella Harris was recently named one of Popular magazine’s ‘It’ girls but she’s not letting the attention get to her head. Instead, the 15-year-old is aiming to be a role model for other girls her age.
Bella tells Star Tribune, “I am honored that the magazine named me an ‘It’ girl, but my life is still the same. I am still a freshman in high school with the same friends and schedule. I am aware that younger girls are starting to follow me so I hope to be a good role model for them.”
Harris is currently signed to one of the biggest modeling agencies in Los Angeles, LA Models, but she remains a humble student and dear friend. “I don’t talk about my work with my friends, or anyone at school really, because I don’t want anyone to be like, ‘you’re a model, you think you’re so cool, blah blah blah,'” says the young star. “Like, what is that supposed to mean?! It’s just easier to not [talk about it]. And with my friends, I mean, they’re my friends so we have better things to talk about! There’s one girl at my school who models, too, but she’s a junior so we don’t really hang out.”
