Operation:
RMES is tasked to install/service/repair workshop equipment and tools used by the Ranamotors vehicle workshops at all locations in Ghana. It will also support the selection/purchasing process of
suitable equipment, follow up with the suppliers for all technical and service issues and insure proper recording of all service related data.
Key Tasks:
- Maintain all relevant documentation like installation/operating/repair manuals and service parts list from the manufacturer and make them accessible to relevant staff.
- Prepare installation site and ensure that required infrastructure (e.g. compressed air supply, electrical connections etc.) are in place.
- Commissioning of equipment including test run and initial operator instructions (e.g. car lifters, ACS611, Jacks, Special Service Tools, and crane Jack).
- Execute a preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment aligned with manufacturer recommendations and organize maintenance visits of the RMES team accordingly.
- Advice superior on wear parts to be stocked in sufficient quantities.
- Maintain calibration and hand tools of RMES and keep them in excellent condition.
- Repair equipment that has failed ASAP. Targeted response time < 24 hours.
- Communicate product quality issues to manager.
- Maintain proper records & documentation for all relevant processes.
- Promote products and services to external customers.
Qualification and Requirements
- A minimum of a Technical college certificate
- At least 5 years’ experience in service and repair of industrial equipment
