RHOP MONIQUE SAMUELS TO CAST MEMBERS: IM A ROLE MODEL TO MY DAUGHTER

RHOP Monique Samuels sees herself as a role model to her daughter despite what the show’s cast members may think. The Real Housewives of Potomac (RHOP) star recently took to Instagram to defend herself after suffering under the weight of public scrutiny because of her fight with fellow RHOP cast member Candiace Dillard.

“My pride and joy along with my two sons,” Monique said of her daughter, Milani. “To say that I’m not a role model to MY DAUGHTER is not only judgmental but insensitive,” the RHOP star said of the criticism that has come her way.

Many scrutinized Monique Samuels after her physical altercation with Candiace Dillard during a recent episode of Real Housewives of Potomac. Several fans of the show placed Monique as the aggressor. A few cast members, including Robyn Dixon, even went so far as to insinuate that Monique was a bad influence on her daughter.

“I started @notforlazymoms to stop the judgment and mom-shaming,” Samuels wrote in her post that addressed the criticism. “I will always be the best role model for my daughter because I keep it real with her,” the RHOP star added. “I’m open with her about my mistakes, my successes, and my personal struggles.”

“I push her to be BETTER than me which is what any parent wants for their children. I teach her how to pick herself up when she falls. Being a mom is not easy but I do my best to be transparent with my children so that they can be their best selves.”

Monique Samuels has three kids – Milani, Chase, and Christopher – with her husband, Chris Samuels. Stay tuned for more Real Housewives of Potomac family news!
