Riley Burruss is in full celebration mode. The oldest daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star Kandi Burruss recently shared a candid that showed her wearing her high school cap and gown.
Riley was holding her diploma while taking the candid. “So blessed to have received an amazing education, and special thanks to my amazing mom who is the reason I will be going to my dream school,” Riley told her Instagram fans. “Wishing all other members of the class of 2020 the best during such a hard time,” she continued. “NYU, here I come.”
Fans learned of Riley’s acceptance to New York University (NYU) a few weeks ago. Both Riley and Kandi took to social media to celebrate the accomplishment.
“I got into my #1 school,” Riley told her Instagram fans. “It was the only school I really even wanted to go to,” Kandi’s daughter continued. “I only thought of applying to other schools as back up plans. [NYU] was the only school in my mind. Just to see that I got in, and it’s for sure … I’m very excited.”
New York University will begin its fall semester online with limited classes in-person. Riley will likely relocate to New York for her freshman year even if the majority of her classes are online. Stay tuned for more celebrity family news!
