RISING TO THE TOP: THE RACHEL CROW STORY

Rachel Crow is gaining much popularity on the “X-Factor.” Aside from having a prolific voice that captivates the crowd, Rachel has the confidence of a superstar. Only 13-years-old, Crow is destined to make her mark in society.

Although she is young and gifted, Rachel has experienced many trials throughout her life. The daughter of an addicted mother, Crow was born a crack baby and lived in a house ravaged by drugs before being adopted. Crow was often abused and never established a relationship with her biological mother. In fact, Rachel’s adoptive family do not know Rachel’s maternal family.

Despite many obstacles, Crow remains positive and focused on winning the “X-Factor.” If victorious, the teen sensation plans to use the $5 million prize money to help other children accomplish their dreams. As the singer states, “I want to build a foundation that makes them feel good about themselves… whether they want to sing or act or whether they want be in sports or go to Harvard.” Crow is one of eleven remaining contestants on the show.
