This law encompasses annual salary boosts and supplementary perks for government personnel in the Philippines, covering the period from January 1, 2024, through 2027.

Who is Eligible for the Salary Increase

  • The salary increments outlined in the Salary Standardization Law are valid for all civilian government employees, regardless of their employment status (whether they are regular, contractual, or casual) or whether they work on a full-time or part-time basis. This includes individuals working in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the government, as well as those employed in Constitutional Commissions, other Constitutional Offices, and Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) not subject to Republic Act 10149.

Salary Increase Guidelines

  • The rates indicated in the above Salary Schedule pertain to the monthly compensation for regular or contractual personnel, whether they hold appointive or elective positions and work on a full-time basis. Those working part-time will receive compensation proportional to the services they render. As for casual personnel, they will receive a daily wage rate calculated by dividing the corresponding monthly salary rate in the provided schedule by twenty-two (22) working days.
  • Section 8. Salary Adjustment for Local Government Units (LGUs) Personnel: The adjusted Salary Schedule outlined here may be extended to LGU personnel, subject to adherence to the Personnel Services (PS) budget constraints as outlined in Sections 325 and 331 of Republic Act No. 7160. Authorization from the Sanggunian, as stipulated in Sections 447(a), 458(a), and 465(a) of Republic Act No. 7160, is also required.
  • During the implementation of these salary increases, LGUs must ensure compliance with the following: (a) LGU personnel salaries must align with the LGU’s income classification and should not surpass the percentage specified in the Salary Schedule in Section 7.
