Here is How To Apply for the UCC Admission. This article contains Detailed Application Procedures for the UCC Admission form. Note that You can use your purchased application card/voucher to modify your application for up to a maximum of three (3) times only. If you have exceeded the usage count which is three (3) times, you can only print your confirmation page. Also note that Applications who do not include reference numbers, WASSCE/SSSCE results slips or transcripts for post-diploma and post-graduate applicants will not be processed.

Cost of UCC Undergraduate Admission Application Forms

Cost of scratch cards to be used to fill the UCC online application forms are stated below;

  • Undergraduate Direct/Diploma/ SSSCE/WASSCE  applicants = GHS 220.00
  • Post Diploma / Post Gradaute / Mature Applicants = GHS 230
  • International Applicants = USD 120.00

    Cost of scratch cards to be used to fill the UCC online application forms distance applicants are stated below;

  • Application Form for Direct Admission= GHS 225.00
  • Application Form for the Mature Entrance Examination entry into the Diploma and Degree programmes including cost of Application Form, Tuition and Examination Fee = GHS 305.00

  • To begin the UCC Admission Application Procedures, Visit the official UCC Portal : https://apply.ucc.edu.gh/.
  • Then Click on the mode of study on the page, which is either Regular Programmes/Graduate Distance Application, Undergraduate Distance Learning Programmes Application, Sandwich Programmes Application or Institute of Education (Sandwich) Programmes Application.
  • Afterwards, you will be redirected to the login page
  • On the login page Select Application Level which is either Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor, etc.
  • Then Select the Application Type which either Post WASSCE First Degree, Regular Graduate Studies, First Degree (Mature Entry) , Distance, etc.
  • Then enter your serial number and pin on the evoucher card you purchased. ( keep the card safe for subsequent login)
  • Then Click the “I have carefully read all instructions”
  • Afterwards Click the login button to begin filling the Online UCC admission application form in stages
  • Then Fill the Application form and attach all required documents and passport picture ( must be JPG or JPEG format and not exceed 20KB )
  • After filling the Online UCC admission application form, Click ‘Preview’ or ‘Accept’ button to either preview the details you entered or accept them.
  • You can as well Click on the ‘Edit button’ to make changes to your application or Click the ‘Save and Continue later button’ to save your application form to return later to continue the application.
  • If you are satisfied with all details you have provided, Click ‘Submit and Print Confirmation’ to submit the online application form
  • Afterwards, Click the ‘Print’ button to Print your Confirmation Page / filled online application form.
  • Dont forget to keep the card safe for subsequent login, Keep your printed Confirmation Page safe as You will require your Reference Number shown on the page to check your admission status and print your admission letter.
  • After printing the Confirmation Page / filled online application form, click on the “Log out” button.
  • Each Applicant is required to print two copies each of his/her confirmation page, attach his/her results slip(s) and any other documents deemed important and forward them by post to The Deputy Registrar, Division of Academic Affairs, University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast. Quoting your Application Reference Number on the envelop.

    Note that applications received without the following will not be processed:

    SSCE / Wassce / Undergraduate Applicants

  • Two (2) copies of relevant certificates authenticated by the awarding institution
  • Two (2) original copies of results slips
  • Two copies of the online application form and confirmation page

    • Postgraduate Applicants

    Graduate Applicants are to print two copies of the Reference Form to be given to Referees who will complete and seal them for the applicant to post them together with other items listed below to The Deputy Registrar, School of Graduate Studies and Research, University of Cape Coast :

  • Two (2) copies of relevant certificates authenticated by the awarding institution
  • Two (2) original copies of results slips or transcript of academic records
  • Two (2) sealed Referees’ Reports (Download Graduate Reference Form)
  • Two (2) copies of Research Proposal
  • Two copies of the online application form and confirmation page

    Applicants can make enquiries about the Sale of Application Forms or submit their completed online application forms at the Regional Study Centres of the College of Distance Education,University of Cape Coast:

  • To begin the UCC Admission Application Procedures, Visit the official UCC Portal : https://apply.ucc.edu.gh/.
  • Then Click on your related mode of study on the page by choosing from the options of either Regular Programmes/Graduate Distance Application, Undergraduate Distance Learning Programmes Application, Sandwich Programmes Application or Institute of Education (Sandwich) Programmes Application.

  • Each Applicant is required to print a copy of his/her confirmation page, attach his/her results slip(s) and any other documents deemed important and forward them by post to The Deputy Registrar, Division of Academic Affairs, University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast.
  • Quoting application reference number, names in full without abbreviations, address, study/examination centre, region, contact number (vii). programme which should be handwritten on the EMS envelop. Applicants can also  submit to the nearest College of Distance Education Study Centre.

    The administration of the University of Cape Coast ( UCC ) has officially opened the admission portal for the UCC admission. The purpose of opening the UCC online admission portal is for prospective students of UCC to apply for admission into the university.
