Black-ish star Yara Shahidi and a host of other Hollywood stars came out to the Beverly Hilton Hotel on October 8th in support of the bi-annual Carousel of Hope Ball.
The Carousel of Hope Ball, held every two years and since 1978, supports the Children’s Diabetes Foundation. This year’s event raised over $75 million dollars towards helping to find a cure.
Other starts who attended the event include actor Samuel L. Jackson, actress Vivica A. Fox, model Bella Harris, record producer Jimmy Jam, and Max Harris.
The Children’s Diabetes Foundation was established by Barbara and Marvin Davis as a non-profit organization dedicated solely to the support of research in diabetes and to provide the best possible clinical and educational programs for people with the disease. The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to support the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes.
