Zendaya was one of the presenters at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon earlier this week. The ‘K.C. Undercover’ star rocked a jacquard jumpsuit with fringe dot applique by Thakoon to the event.
“I thought it was very chic and kind of laid-back,” Zendaya said of her look, “but also still fancy enough and it is really comfortable.”
“I feel like every kind of fashion choice that my stylist Law [Roach] and I have made have kind of developed us creatively,” she added. “We’ve been able to grow more. We’ve learned more about ourselves. It’s allowed me a lot of freedom and confidence.”
The 2016 Black Women in Hollywood awards were presented to Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross (Fierce & Fearless award), director and actress Debbie Allen (Legend award) , and entertainment lawyer Nina Shaw (Lincoln Power award).
